I’m inspired by humans, and often think about how amazing and absurd we are.

Hi there. I’m Jasmine, a UX Designer based in Seattle. I strive to design simple solution for complex problems. I see everything as multivariate. Thus I consider not only visual aesthetic, but also technical capabilities, business goals, and behavioral psychology when designing.

I started writing my journey and thoughts as a designer on Medium since 2017. The initial purpose was to document what I experienced along the way. Then something amazing happened — more and more people started reading my articles. It turns out there are many aspiring designers found my words useful, some even reached out to me for further conversation. It feels awesome to help others reach their dream. Now, I write because I believe my writing is empowering people, including myself.

Aside from design, I love books. Reading is one of my favorite things. I read fictions and non-fictions, with various topics like design, psychology, behavioral science, entrepreneurship and productivity. Like many PNW people, I love hiking, camping, and snowboarding. If it’s raining, I can usually be found reading, watering plants, or playing with my pup.
